"A Devil's Playground is a horror-adventure game based on \u0022mockumentary\u0022 and found-footage horror films. This project aims to create a unique horror experience with disturbing and disfigured enemy variants reminiscent of the \u0022Silent Hill\u0022 franchise, narrow and isolated environments with intricate and cryptic puzzles, and all while bringing back classic horror game tropes such as inventory management, low resources, and map backtracking similar to the original \u0022Resident Evil\u0022 series.\r\n\r\nAs well as these features, and many others planned for this project, the story is told from the perspective of a FPV \u0022GO-PRO\u0022-like camera and documentary style clips pieced together to form a dark story of inhumane experiments and government project cover-up. \r\n\r\nThis project strives to bring horror back towards it's roots, avoiding psychological aspects and piling in truly terrifying and grotesque creature horror wrapped in heavy government conspiracy secrets that we hope can really get it the same tense and on-the-edge feel of modern horror games while still feeling familiar and reminiscent to old-school horror titles.\r\n\r\nTo take a better look at what has been finished so far, more info on the project, or follow the current Devlog, please visit the project's GameJolt page here:\r\n\r\nhttps:\/\/gamejolt.com\/games\/adevilsplayground\/387787"
"The programmers in this project, which is currently being written in C#, will be the main core of the project, helping improve the current base code, write AI for enemy characters, improve current AI navigation and path-finding, writing code for puzzle-based aspects, and other features that will be needed for this project. "A Devil's Playground will have many different variants of enemies, each with there own way of hunting and attacking the player. For this, we'll need models for some of these characters, of which concept art has already been made. The characters will have to reflect the environment, matching close to the photo-realistic looked aimed for in this project, as well as rigged for animation purposes. "
