Time is the new financial investment
Form up in teams
Seen an interesting project that you think you can help out with? Then get stuck in! Projects on Crowdsourcer.io have positions that anyone can apply and contribute to in exchange for a proportionate share of the profits.
As people apply and are accepted into projects, all the spaces will eventually fill until no more applications can be made. As the creator of a project it's easy to adjust the number of spaces you need in each position, on the fly, to help keep meeting the project's needs.
As people contribute to projects their approval will build. You can use this to review applicants to any of your projects or if you're helping project manage, to decide who should do what. Approval ratings are not limited to an overall score, but to a position specific score too.
Project management
Through the Mission Control for your project, you have all your project management needs in one place, including communication, task management, position allocation and more.
Built-in peer review and voting systems mean that you can reward those with quality contributions and prevent free-riders from submitting poor work.
Delegate tasks to the different positions in your project, with markdown text fields and completion forms. Encourage an agile workflow in your project by prioritising different tasks and flagging them as 'To-do', 'Begun', 'In review' and 'Completed'.
Automatically gain access to a versatile chat application that allows you to create channels, upload documents and direct message team members.
Sales and distribution
Once your product has been built you're free to sell it through the Crowdsourcer.io store, a store where you don't have to battle for exposure and can sell without the hassle of handling sensitive customer information or sacrificing large chunks of the revenue of sales.
Want to sell on your own website or on third party retailers? No problem. Crowdsourcer.io provides you with customisable widgets, receipts and payment flows without writing a line of code or getting embroiled in handling sensitive information. Made sales elsewhere? Run payroll easily and quickly to pay both yourself and contributors.

Crowdsourcer.io has launched its much-anticipated payment platform that allows projects on the site to earn money through sales, donations and from third-party retailers. Profits that projects earn are distributed to all contributors within a project, and importantly, this is done on how much they actually contributed to the project.
The new tools launched allow projects to create products and donations to sell through Crowdsourcer.io, or via widgets on their own site that take their customers through a fully branded and white labelled checkout process. When sales are made in such a way the proceeds of the sale are automatically distributed to all contributors of the project based on the number of Contribution Points (C.Pts) they’ve built up, a representation of their positive contributions. Furthermore, rather than limit projects to selling through the platform, Crowdsourcer.io offers the ability to run Payroll, a method of distributing profits earned outside of the platform.

It was with great excitement that I removed the flag in the config files which removed the "Coming Soon" page.
The countdown timer which had started at 4.5 weeks was at 00:00:00 for just 15 minutes, which, considering I'm normally late by about 30 minutes to meet my dad at the pub down the road, is not too shabby.
There are still tonnes of things that need to be fixed/improved/added + a load of new features that I have planned and will roll out over the coming days and weeks, but at least something is on the line.
If you want to be a part of this project then please, jump right in. I'll be opening up more and more positions as we go along, and any contribution will be rewarded the same as any other project on this site, with a share of all the profits.
